The Joint Landowners Coalition of New York (JLCNY) is a nonprofit, grassroots organization providing a voice for landowners across New York. JLCNY is comprised of 38 member coalitions, representing over 70,000 landowners and 800,000 acres in 17 counties. We were founded in 2010 in response to New York's 2008 moratorium on fracking, which has since limited job opportunities and revenue for the local economy.
JLCNY aims to enhance and protect the common interest of local landowners in relation to natural gas development. We're dedicated to furthering our movement by keeping landowners informed and engaged about the economics and politics related to natural gas development in New York. We keep our members updated by holding regular events and staying active in the media.
