Our rally to show our support for landowner rights and NG development in NY on Saturday 18 was a huge success! More than 250 landowners and Union Tradesmen showed up in Painted Post NY to voice their support of our fundamental rights. Thanks to the hard work of our volunteer videographer we now have videos posted on our website so everyone can see and hear just how great it was!

Most important, please listen to Congressman Tom Reed's discussion of his Defense of Property Rights Bill. His turn at the podium starts at the 17:03:08 mark. Make no mistake, Reed's bill is the best hope we have for being compensated for Governor Cuomo's illegal taking of our property rights and ultimately derailing his efforts. Think about it. Once it is realized that his actions will bankrupt  the state whenwe have to be compensated for his taking of our rights he won't be able to proceed with his ill advised and uninformed ideaology.
 
In order for Reed's bill to succeed we need to show our support for it, and I mean NOW! Please print the file linked to at the end of this posting, complete your information at the bottom, and mail it in to the address at the top of the letter. Have all of your family, friends, and acquaintances do the same. To save postage four such letters can be mailed in one envelope.
 
In addition to Tom Reed's hopeful speech we also heard a factual report on how Natural Gas development has brought what can only be summed up as "prosperity" to Bradford County PA. Bradford County Commissioner Doug McLinko's words are like a flood light of truth dispelling the anti-gas activists' lies and irrational fear mongering. You can hear Doug's discussion starting at the 48:51:15 minute mark.
 
If you appreciate Doug's word of support for NY landowners as much as I do please read the letter linked to at the end of this posting detailing the mutual support Doug and the JLCNY share. After you read the letter please consider using the similarly linked form to donate to Doug's re-election fund as heads into a potentially contentious May primary.
 
Of course you'll want to listen to the discussions provided by all the inspiring speakers. You'll have a better understanding and appreciation of the fight we are in and will be glad you took a moment to watch and listen. I guarantee it!
 
Finally, it is important for each and everyone of us to stay tuned for more information. We are hearing from from news reports and our sources in Albany that Governor Cuomo's man at the DEC, Martens, is about to release an unreviewed SGEIS that will strip you of your rights. When that happens it will be one of the largest ever denials of constitutional rights and we will all need to respond forcefully that we will not tolerate such illegal takings.
